We’re seeking an enthusiastic and motivated doctor to join our supportive team, providing care to approximately 7,400 patients in our urban and rural community. Proud of our long standing excellent reputation, we are committed to providing high quality family care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a variety of GP appointments based around e-Consult, telephone and face to face appointments plus an equitable share of home visits, Duty Doctor and cottage hospital support.

We are supported by an in-house multi-disciplinary team (MDT) of Allied Health Professionals (D&G Health Board Employees) providing Community Mental Health support, Pharmacotherapy services and advanced Physiotherapy assessments.
Based from our purpose built clinic at the rear of the practice we also support the Health Board’s baby immunisation, physiotherapy, drug and alcohol specialist services, Relate Scotland and speech and language therapies. In the same campus we have further collaboration with our district nursing team and Community Link workers.
Based centrally in the small historic coastal town of Annan, we are surrounded by beautiful coast and countryside with easy access to both South West Scotland, the Lake District and Northumbria.
Annan has excellent transport links. Annan railway station just a few minutes’ walk. By road the A74(M) / M6 motorways are just 10 minutes away. The area is served by 5 international airports; Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle and Liverpool.

Working 6-8 sessions per week, the new GP Partner will provide a variety of face to face, telephone and e-consult appointments, plus a share of home visits and Duty Doctor. They will also help support the local community hospital, working with our experienced ANP. Our purpose built premises are shared with the neighbouring practice and our annexed clinic hosts several Health Board services including our multi-disciplinary team.
