Applications are invited for a Locum Appointment for Training (ST3+) in Vascular Surgery, starting on 6th August for 12 months.
The post will be based within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The department undertakes a wide range of procedures for patients from across the NHS Grampian region as well as those from Orkney and Shetland

It is anticipated that the successful applicant will be trained in the Medical and Surgical management of Vascular Disease and will be taught open Vascular Surgical procedures to ST3-4 level depending on technical abilities & progress.

CbD, DOPS and 360 degree appraisal will be used to assess progress. Additionally, basic Vascular ultrasound and endovenous procedures will be taught.

The successful applicant will be encouraged to enrole in the ISCP (www.iscp.ac.uk) to record operative log & WBA assessments
