NHS Grampian is delighted at the prospect of recruiting a further Locum Consultant Anaesthetist to Dr Grays Hospital in Elgin. This full-time post (10 PAs) will primarily be based at Dr Grays Hospital. Specialist interest will be encouraged and there may be an opportunity, if appropriate, for interested and suitably qualified applicants to work at other hospitals within Grampian. Colleagues with an interest in Remote and Rural Anaesthesia practice within the North of Scotland, Highlands and Islands are also welcome to apply. Individualised Job Planning can be tailored to the requirements of the service and applicants.
Dr Grays Hospital is situated in Elgin, the county town of Moray in the North-East of Scotland. Inverness lies 35 miles to the West with Aberdeen 65 miles to the East. We are Scotlands smallest District General Hospital. The Anaesthetic service is currently under full review in terms of staffing and function: work is underway to establish an expanded Consultant tier.
