Due to upcoming retirement we are looking to recruit a new motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active Practice Manager to join our friendly team at Anchor Mill Medical Practice. Based in Paisley in a modern purpose built building serving circa 9400 patients with easy access to M8 motorway and close to Glasgow South.
We are a Training Practice with 6 GP partners, 2 Salaried GP’s, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and CDM nurse We have additional support from in-house allied staff including well-being nurse, pharmacotherapy, community link worker and phlebotomist. Paramedic colleagues will be attached/supporting the practice from early 2025. Our current clinical systems are EMIS and Docman.
The Practice Manager is supported by our highly skilled admin team of Office Manager, Reception Supervisor, Typist/Secretary and 9 Receptionists
The ideal candidate should have previous experience of GP Practice Management/Healthcare Management for this challenging but exciting role. With excellent communication and IT skills. They should be reliable with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to adopt and maintain a positive and supportive workplace culture. Ensuring a high standard of service to all our patients, visitors and the team.
The main duties of the role are supporting the practice in strategic planning and practice management, ensuring compliance with and fulfilling all contractual obligations. The role holder will be process driven and solution focused to oversee the efficient and safe operation of the Practice, leading all aspects of its management. This includes, human resources, finance/accounts, payroll, organisational structure and services, premises management, information technology, clinical governance, quality and performance management and health and safety.
The post is full-time 37.5hrs per week Mon – Friday. Competitive salary, holiday pay (depending on experience) and NHS Pension. Hours and pay negotiable for the right candidate. Proposed start date 1st May 2025
