Applications are invited to provide Primary Medical Services under a General Medical Services Contract for approximately 585 patients in and around Carradale, Argyll & Bute.

This is an excellent opportunity to improve health outcomes and NHS Highland would welcome applications from interested parties that will deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to needs of the local patients.

Carradale is on the stunning west coast of Scotland. Situated on the Kintyre peninsula (overlooking Arran) Kintyre offers the outdoor enthusiast a huge variety of activities. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, golden sandy beaches, hills, lochs, several golf courses, variety of water sports, photography, archaeology, wildlife, vibrant music culture, seafood, gin & whisky distilleries, and the relaxing atmosphere which the area has to offer. Carradale has its own community shop, post office, primary school, garage, golf course, restaurant, tea rooms and hotels. Campbeltown (15 miles away) has 2 good sized supermarkets and a wide range of independent shops/cafes/restaurants.

It is a requirement that all applicants meet the criteria of section 17L of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 as amended.
